This has been an excellent addition to my tool kit. It is never going to be at home in a scientific laboratory or a pathology lab but it is well and truly suitable for "average" usage needs. I have used it to inspect metal particles from inside a helicopter engine and to extreme close-up photograph the crown of a damaged rifle bore. It's very useful and does a great job.
